The 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup will be the 18th edition of the FIFA U-17 World Cup, the biennial international men's youth footballchampionship contested by the under-17 national teams of the member associations of FIFA, since its inception in 1985 as the FIFA U-16 World Championship and the 15th since age limit was raised from 16 to 17 in 1991. The tournament will be hosted by Peru between 5 and 27 October 2019.[2][1] It will mark the second time Peru have hosted the U-17 tournament, after the 2005 FIFA U-17 World Championship.
